I want to have a bit of fun in Sonel’s Black and White Photo Challenge this week. With “Upward”, I have tried to look for pictures which direct my line of vistion “upwards” in the composition, rather than objects that point upwards per se.
I find these pictures, taken from the same location but from slightly different angles. I am standing at the bottom of a cave in the outback of Australia looking up to the sky.
Do you also find that you are looking upwards towards the opening of the cave?
Just beautiful Opalla and thanks so much for taking part and for sharing. I love it! π
Please just remember next time to link back to the challenge or link the logo to the challenge :

Thank you and much appreciated. π *hugs*
Thanks for reminder, Sorel. Just did it. I was too pre-occupied copying your logo to my post. π
LOL Opalla. Don’t worry and no harm done. I have those days as well. π
Reblogged this on Black and White Weekly Photo Challenge Entries.
This is wonderful. Thank you, Sonel, for your encouragement! π
You are very welcome Opalla. π
Interesting to find trees at the bottom of a cave… but then I’ve never been in a cave…. π
This is the interesting part: we were led through a tunnel and cave-looking space and it came out that way. Probably because there is light and soil, a tree could grow there.
Great shots, Opalla! Looks like it’s a huge cave. I just wonder how you got down to the bottom of the cave.
This place was big. We were led through a tunnel and a big cave from one side, and came to see light at the other end. Really awesome.

Lovely photos Ophalla! Glad there’s a tunnel that leads there and that you didn’t have to climb your way back to the top!
Yes, Janaline, we went out the same way we went in.
